Anyone who has known me for a while knows that I’m a firm believer in serendipity. So how about this for the universe smiling on me?
In the past 24 hours, I got to spend time with 3 old friends/rockstars in Singapore, although none of us live there. Just that old Venn diagram working its magic.
Probably some 35+ cumulative years of friendship, wisdom and support from these 3 legends, and then I get to see them all within a day:
– Grace Clapham – founder of ChangeSchool, ex-Meta, generator of (at least) 1,000 big ideas, Mama extraordinaire and builder of communities
– Jamie Gripton – Global Executive Tech Recruiter for MitchelLake Group, Founder Whisperer, ex-founder and major supporter of scale-ups and investors globally
– William Bao Bean – Managing Partner of Orbit Startups, former head of Chinaccelerator and SOSV Asia, investor in 100’s (1,000’s?) of startups worldwide and the ultimate road warrior
Great catching up with each, but also wonderful to bang around new ideas, brainstorm and benefit from some awesome advice and guidance as well. A bunch of new offerings and features to come out of these 3 meetings – stay tuned.
Grateful and humbled to have such wonderful friends/mentors/supporters in my life. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
